Diaper Free Toddler - 3 Weeks Later
It's been 3 weeks since we gave up diapers for Joel. He does real well during the day. He does get an occasional mess. BM's are almost always in the potty and the pees are the things he struggles with. It wasn't funny when he said he had to go potty and on his way stopped and held my wallet and then proceeded to pee on it. About a week into it, we started letting him go back to diapers at night and naptime because he was getting frustrated with waking up wet. About a week after that we decided that was getting him confused. He was asking for diapers during the day. (which we never gave in to that) He also was waking in the night and taking his diapers off to go to the bathroom. So we quit and put towels down on his bed. It's been a few days with no night or naptime accidents! Yay! I know so many struggle with their young ones at night for years, so this is a true blessing.
Now comes the true test of parenting one whose potty trained.... When you are at church and they say they need to potty every 5 minutes....when do they need to go???
